Spent nearly a week in KL but did not get too much done. I think the fact that our rooom had no windows did not help us to get up in the mornings. On our first day we went to KL birdpark and spent nearly four hours there. The place was huge with most of the birds flying free. We even got to have some of the birds sit with us. After the bird park we went to the lake park but it was closed for landscaping so we went to the butterfly park. We spent about fifteen minutes in the park very small not very many butterflys no bird park. We went to eat chinese on the street it was good and the rat the size of a small rabbit that ran behind Keeley did not affect our appetite. We went up to the rooftop bar at our hostel and had a few drinks resulted in another late night.
So up late again next morning went into KL center to do some shopping theree shopping centres are huge and there are loads of them. Spent most of day wondering without buying. At night we went to little india for a curry it was very good best food yet in Malayasia.
Went up the tower on our next day fourth biggest tower in world. Great views of city including looking at peoples rooftop swimming pools lots of people with money in KL. Went for a quick walk around the forest where Keeley got bitten lots again the mosies in Malayasia seem to like her.
The next day we got a little earlier and went out of town to a water park/theme park called sunway lagoon. The slides were good fun even had one where it was designed for you to go down headfirst. The place was massive but the theme park was a bit tame we did enjoy the big rollercoaster going on it twice in a row.
Our last day in KL we went to the petronus towers where everyone goes but by the time we got there no tickets. Back at the hostle we watched transformers but thinking we should do something with the day headed out to the planterium but yep it was closed as well. Dodgy curry at night left Keeley feeling none too well.
