Hello everyone We admit it...we were there 4 weeks ago!! Have been having computer issues AGAIN! Old excuse, but we like it. Anyway, Yangshou was the perfect end to China mainland. Completely chilled out and very backpacker friendly, complete with Western menus and DVD in our room...bliss. Surrounded by amazing scenery, we did manage to get out adventuring. Mountain biking, boat trips and caving (rather muddy!) were all brilliant. Highlight was a light show set against the hills across the river. The photos don't do it justice, but may give an impression. Just stunning, involving hundreds of actors, boats and special effects. Promise to do better at keeping up to date! Lots of love A & J xx
