Hi there everyone Have just left Cambodia after 2 weeks there. What an incredible country. Definitely a culture shock from China - loads less developed - but we just loved it. Angkor Wat was innevitably the highlight. 3 days of exploring the many temples by tuk tuk and bike was brilliant. Each one had it's own style and individuality, and we were blown away by both the scale and detail of the area. Rating now as one of the top WT sights. Just amazing! Then it was on to Phnom Penh where we started to get a feel for the country's more recent history, and the Khmer Rouge rule. This was difficult to take in, truly tragic and still effects the country and people now. Via Kampot we made our way to the beach of Sihanoukville for 4 days blissed out relaxing in the gorgeous sunshine. Stayed 1 min walk from the beach and really didn't get any further! Suntans are much improved. Just arrived in Saigon and we're off to the airport to meet Elly tonight...very excited! Lots of love A & J xx
