We all went to see the new James Bond Movie, Skyfall, while in London. It's awesome, but a little different than the other Bond movies in my opinion. I won't give it away in case you haven't seen it yet. The movie theatre was interesting. First off, there are 3 price choices for seats. We sat in the middle price range and the price of that ticket was 15 pounds which is about 28 dollars per ticket. The least expensive tickets are in the front section closest to the screen, the mid range is in the middle of the theatre, and the most expensive seating is in the back and these seats recline. Our tickets were great, and I do like the fact that you can choose your price range. Cynthia bought the tickets on line and they give you assigned seating. This is nice because we had 7 people going to the movie so we would have had to get their early to get seats together. But with the assigned seating we showed up right before the movie and walked in to our seats. Next, the popcorn is self-serve! You take what size bag you want and then you get a choice of salty or sweet, and you can mix them together if you would like. Genius! The movie was filmed all over London at places we had visited so we felt lucky to see it there. We had ridden the tube that day and there was a big scene involving the tube. Also as you know Adele is from Britain and she does the theme song for the movie. Great experience, and fun to have been able to see it in London. Thanks to Cynthia for yet ANOTHER fun outing!
