Simon's Blog Hi everyone, i would like to say that while we have been in the KISC we had to do a big hike which was called the Snow and Ice Combo. The hike was tiring and it was cold! When we were up in the mountain we got to go on the on the ice and do some ice walking and climbing IT WAS REALY HARD! When we were on the ice we got to climb an ice wall and go down a crevass, it was very good but cold.
Almost time to leave the Alps and head back to sunny Liverpool! What a fantastic week we have all had.. We have had adventures every day and mixed with Scouts from all over the world..Last night we attended the international camp fire where we met scouts from Portugal (tomato soup), Africa, Australia, Germany (Ram s***e), Italy, America, The Netherlands, Sweden, Hong Kong, and Many other places.. It really opened our Scouts eyes to just how big the Scout moveme...
Home tomorrow boo - We will be leaving camp at 16:45 Swiss time for the airport however, we still have another full day in KISC (Kandersteg International Scout Centre).. The past week has been fantastic, we have had some great weather this week with lots of very hot & sunny days and only a few hours of rain one late evening ... a first for the 2nd for a long time !!!.. We have all had such a laugh and done so much ... Will remember this camp for a long time.....
