WOW WOW WOW and maybe just a fourth for good measure - WOOOOOOOOOW
We have had a few great days since leaving Lake Tekapo on Saturday morning. After another long drive we arrived in Dunedin without accommodation for Saturday night - within 5 minutes that problem was solved and we headed out for a long afternoon of fine food, great ales and the necessary fancy dress outfit that Rex brought with him.
With much trepidation Woody and I unpacked our outfits to be met by a British Army outfit from the famous film Zulu. So after a few moments of bewilded looks like in some comedy sketch show we headed into town back to the bar Woody and I were sat in exactly 6 days earlier. After many salutes to passers by and even the odd Policeman drinking commenced in earnest.
As I am sure you saw the game was a cracker - England look much happier and lighter on their feet and actually played some quality running rugby. I tried to explain this to the Sky Sports presenter straight after the game when the three of us were being interviewed but with an upside down grey moustache on top of a shaggy beard, no wonder we didn't make the 6 o'clock news coverage!!!
So bleary eyed we got up un Sunday and headed to Te Anau where we have been based for the last 2 days. It really is a stepping stone to the world renowned Doubtful and Milford Sound. The later being where we have spent today. Without question an incredible beautiful place and one that people should see, especially from the view of a sea kayak bobbing up and down going in circles because Woody does not know his left and right. Woody, Mr Sports Management, who even did a module on HIS DEGREE IN KAYAKING (yes people courses like that exist) was a poor captain and has been demoted to Goose status.
We are all going to feel the effects in the morning with some v stiff shoulders, least I am not the one throwing myself out of a plane at 15,000 ft - GOOD LUCK WITH THAT FELLAS - I'll be sat in Ferge Burger enjoying a cracking meal and a beer maybe whilst throwing some dwarves, BUT I WILL NOT BE SOCIALISING WITH ANY BLONDERS I PROMISE LU!!! (love you ;) )
Enjoy the heatwave I hear you are set to have, that's prior to the snow correct???
