Well it's Friday morning here in Kuala Lumpar and today, sadly, is our last day of our tour.
KL has been fantastic and we have had a couple of very relaxed days here. After arrived at the hotel late tuesday night Wednesday was spent in shopping centres and food malls which are both what Malasians seem to do very well.
Tim was our tour guide for this part of the tour and he took us to see some of the best KL has to offer. We had a fantastic meal on wednesday night which included the local specialty chicken Fish which dies exactly what is says on the tin and also we tried Durian (a local fruit) which I can safely say I will be going no where near for the rest of my days - the smell alone drove the crowds away from our dinner table! We hit the town and after a few beers and it was someone's bright idea to have a favourite shot round...? And interestingly Woody picked Absinthe. Let's just say the evening is still coming back to me but the highlight was definitely meeting 4 Finish girls carved out by the god's - truly their finest work!
We spent Thursday with Steve (tim's dad) anf great to final my meet him at last. We had another wonderful meal for lunch (well apart from Woody feeling the heat alittle) which was again something special followed by an afternoon at their pool.
The evening started early last night as we headed to Steve's local bar Bedagers for a few beers before dinning at one of his favourite curry houses Gill's. I won't go to any more detail but need-less to say the evening was a great way to finish off our trip and Woody and I would like to say a very big thank you to Steve for his hospitality. It was very kind of him to welcome us into his home.
After what feels like the longest Friday of my life we are homeward bound finally and what a wonderful 3 and a half weeks I have spent. I had very high expectations of New Zealand and she delivered with some to spare! A beautiful place in every sense of the word. The places we have seen over the past month have been spectacular only matched by the hospitality and friendliness of the locals and i have to say i hope, after England got knocked out, that the All Blacks deliver the world cup.
What an amazing trip with some great memories. I want to finish by thanking my 'Wolfpack' Tim and Woody for making it the trip it has been. The best compliment I can give is that I have not stopped laughing.
Just a last thanks to everyone that's followed us on this blog. Can't wait to catch up with you all in the next week days and weeks.

Woody Well gents, all i can say is that its been emotional! I think Rexy has hit the nail on the head there, NZ is simply an amazing place and i would recommend that everyone tries to see the country for themselves at some point if you havent already. Ive been up since 5am re living all the highlights whilst editing all my pics and videos and i can safely say this trip has lived up to and surpassed all expectations that i had prior to going. Timmy, Rexington, even after taking into account the noises and the smells (both car and hostel room) i can safely say that its been a pleasure and id do it all again tomorrow if we could! So thanks for the memories fellas and roll on the Lions tour in Australia 2013! Woody
