Today we got up early and straight away went snorkeling. There was a man that took us to pigeon island. We snorkeled at a nice little reef right close to the shore. Unfortunately the coral wasn't very nice as it wasn't taken care. It looked liked it had been stood on and everything. As nice as it would have been to have colorful coral, it didn't really matter as the fish were stunning. The fish that stood out were Nemo, Dori and Scar, a massive bright blue fish with splashes of other bright colors and heaps more. After snorkeling there was a bit of drama. When we were packing up on the shore, we were looking out at the local boys playing around on the rocks in the water. Then all of a sudden, one of the boys was under the water, splashing, with his hands in the air. His friends didn't help him cause they couldn't swim either. Before we knew it, there were men running out to the boy, oblivious of the dangerously sharp coral. They got to him just in time. He came out, a bit shaken up but laughing. Believe it or not, his friends were laughing too and kept on playing on the rocks as if it never happened. After that drama, we went back to our hotel and mum an I jumped in the pool. I made a big mistake doing that as I got really sunburnt and payee the price afterwards. I still am paying the price and it's bad. After having a shower and watching a movie, we went to the Italian restaurant in the Palm Beach Hotel. The cook was Italian and the food was really nice. Because we were very tired, we didn't stay too long. We came back to our hotel and watched one more movie and then went to sleep.
