Got up and went on train. It was an old and rickety train with pretty ordinary seats. There was a guy that looked about 16 years old that was sitting at the door of the train with his legs hanging out. I felt like screaming at him and telling him to sit down because I was so worried. Then, making me feel even worse, he started smoking. At one point, the train stopped and the boy hopped out and we hadn't even arrived at the station yet. That gave me the idea that he had no train ticket so he got off earlier so he wouldn't get caught. He risked his life so much. After that 10 minute train ride, we got off and then got on the main train. The one that we are on for roughly 4hrs and are in first class for. The one that is taking us to Nuwara Eliya. I thought the first class would be a lot like the one we went on in Colombo but I was very wrong. First class was AWSOME! The seats were lovely, there was a TV with movies on all the time and there was a menu of food you could order on the train. It was great! Unfortunately I started to feel a bit sick near the end of the journey. After that long train trip we took a taxi to our lovely hotel; the hill club. When I arrived, I thought I was in a dream. Our hotel was a old English castle. The garden was stunning with bright pretty flowers and buzzing bees. The actual castle has a Billiard room, a casual dining room, a reading room, a formal dining room (with a dress code of men's having to wear a blazer and a suit and women having to wear a dress), a mixed bar etc. As Nuwara Eliya has quite a cooler temperature, our room has a cute little heater and our beds always have lovely hot water bottles at night. I am in love with the hill club. After the exploration of our amazing hotel, we moved and explored a bit of the city. We watched the cricket in a shop we went passed and the people working there who were watching it were really ecstatic when Sri Lanka won. The whole street was buzzing with excitement. We had dinner at a nice little restaurant and then went straight to bed.
