We Rented bikes from hostel as we wanted to do the famous Hai Van pass, which is significantly known on top gear for being the best road to drive on and the most scenic!
It was handy as Sarah wanted to go on the back of a guide then I had my own bike, so I could just follow the guide! They took our big bags from us at the hostel and delivered them to our next hostel in Hoi An. It was a bit risky as they took our two bag in the footwell of a scooter!
So I Did hai van pass, it was so so scary as there was so many bends and this was only the second time I had ridden a scooter!
We saw a lovely Peninsula, it was a wide white sand bank in the middle of the sea. We also stopped at various points for lovely photos.
We went all the way to the top of the mountain and it was so so cold and cloudy, it felt quite unsafe to drive as no one had lights on!
We then had Lunch at a local restaurant and it was noodle soup! Sarah wasn’t a fan and was aching from sitting on the back of a bike!
We were nearly at Hoi An, so the guide stopped at Marble mountain which was a popular stop off. This was where all the marble was taken from in Vietnam! It was a pretty mountain but very touristy.
We Arrived at Vietnam Backpacks thankfully and it was st paddy’s day, it was such a crazy hostel to walk into! They were having pool parties and drinking and it was only midday! After a 6 hour journey, o wasn’t quite prepared for this!
We were Reunited with the boys Jonny rob and Shane - so strange but they were in our room! The hostel was massive but they were on the exact same room! So strange!
Sarah and I then Went to dingo Deli with Shane whilst the others drunk, I had a super good pizza. This place was expensive but the food was so so good! I then came back and drunk with rob and Jonny as the others went to bed!
We Watched the England rugby, drink a little and went to bed. Rob passed out outside the room and Sarah had to drag him in!
