chris allan trust me guys,the quest for curry is futile. Thai curry is far superior and dirt cheap in some places. glad to hear you're doing well nad setteled in nicely. and get some permethrin spray for the roaches....not nice but better than trying to catch or stomping on the ugly things. more deets on and piccys of the house please....... Chris PS: other toptips would be to check out the chips shop/fish restaruant by the spit (?) bridge to Manly (great beer battered local falathead), hire some 2 man kayaks to go around the harbour from there too. great day out. enjoy, I knew you'd love it. David Hiya - just sitting here in Kuwait and spent a surprisingly nice hour catching up on your travels and photos. Coincidentally, was eating a chicken pizza as I reached your other type of "chicken" exploit! You'll be pleased to know it didn't faze me too much and the pizza was finished pronto. Also have a couple of cushions made of Alpaca, and never having seen a picture of one before (an Alpaca that is), it's cool to now know what one looks like. Great news about your Microsoft job T!

Ben Dipping in occasionally to catch up and hadn't noticed the message board. Doh! Whole trip looks amazing. Particularly jealous of the whitewater rafting - looks a lof fun. Less jealous of the cuy, though you've probably eaten worse in the Sultana. Rub the aussies noses in it Dave, while pointing out one-day cricket doesn't count. Mind you, at least Australia have qualified for the footie World Cup, unlike (I'm afraid to break it to you) the Tartan army. Enjoy rest of the trip. B
