Most of the morning was taken up with Pete working; answering emails, setting up meetings etc.
We set off to Anaheim to meet one of our suppliers. The drive was mostly freeway with some interesting billboards & highway walls with different patterns.
As we arrived at our supplier we found a couple of oil derricks in front of the industrial park, we are definitely back in SoCal lol
The meeting went really well, we spent a couple of hours there before heading off back towards LA.
We had spotted an outlet centre on the way down, the front building had a huge red ribbon on top so we stopped there to check it out on the way back. Lots of bargains to be had but the reality is we don't need too much so did some limited shopping and were on our way again.
Betty decided there was a hold up on the freeway so took us round the back clocks. It was all new territory to us, initially it was a working class Hispanic area then light industrial before becoming a whole other thing. Both sides of the street were lined with the homeless and their possessions. It was like a refugee camp and not just the one street, all the cross streets were the same. We've never seen anything like it, even Vancouver wasn't on this scale. They were all interacting, chatting, laughing etc zero agro from what we could see, well not while we went through at least.
Back at our hotel we were surprised to find not only had the replacement cutters etc arrived but Pete's sun glasses had been dropped off too! How's that for service, we only saw them yesterday lunch time, such a fast turn around.
A quick trip to Walgreens to stock up on some of life's essentials for the next year at about a fifth of what we'd pay at home pretty much finished off our day.
