The Anjuna market was amazing! Completely hectic though. I got really good at hageling! Me and Emma lost each other but both ended up on the beach where we spent the afternoon sprawled on our sarongs. That was on the 20th. The 21st was a whole different ball game. We got the famous India food poisoning. I wont go into details but it was a disgusting day. Feel very weak today and on a lot of medice but very glad we've seen the worst of it. As the doctor said 'it's part of the Indian experience'. Its definitly an experience im happy to leave behind. We had to keep our door open because the bathroom has no ceiling or door and we needed to air our room so that we weren't stewing in our own germs. Luckily the door opened out to a courtyard and our neighbours and the hostel owners kept popping in trying to keep our spirits high. Eventualy the doctor was called who prescribed us drugs they dont sell in this town. Luckily Emma felt a lot better today and went to the chemist in the next town. We're taking it easy today and moving further north in Goa tomorow if we're both well enough. Going through food poisoning together shows real friendship!
