Well, yesterday was really crappy, so I don't want to tell you about it, or blog about it, because then it becomes a written record of our whinging and complaining, and that's not what we want to remember. So we're all agreed, yesterday never happened! It didn't rain all day! We didn't waste another $50 going to see Ice Age 4, which is the worst movie of the animated genre ever, and by far, the worst of that particular series. So bad in fact, that I nearly got up and left, except that the seats were comfortable, and it was drier in the cinema than our caravan... That, and I fell asleep... If I'd had a tomato, I would have thrown it at the screen, but I don't think we do that these days, do we? Anyway, don't waste your time or money, it most definitely is NOT worth the cost of admission, you'd only end up doing what we're doing, and pretending like it didn't happen...
Today is much better... The rain has stopped for the most part. Still a bit grey and cloudy, and it feels like it'll rain again, but it hasn't so far. We made our way over to Monteville and Maleny today, just to have a look around, and to get out of our musty, smelly caravan, and they're both really nice places. Monteville is by far the prettier town of the two, with heaps of character and charm, but they're both nice, and close enough together that you can easily visit each of them. We had morning tea and lunch as we walked around, but there was nothing we were looking for, and it was just window shopping, which is only fun for so long, so we made our way back to the coast to Maroochydore, and up the coast road to home. It was nice to get out and about again, and even though it wasn't bright sunshine, it was dry enough and warm enough to be able to walk around with just our tee shirts on. While we were out window shopping, we managed to find another couple of DVD's we haven't seen, so we've got something to do if the rain does start up again tonight... Hopefully, we won't need them...
It just felt good playing tourist again!
