Got up and had pancakes for breaky then did sone catch up chores of cleaning.
We all then headed down to have a swim. There ate three water falls here: Elliot, Twin and Indian. We had been told that twin was the best for kids to swim in as has a shallow lagoon. Got to Elliot Falls which was amazing. Another lot of water that just cascades down a fall. Barbara And Martin were there and after we got done pics we watched them both jump off the edge down to the lagoon, about 3m drop...can't decide whether stupid or l'm just scared?!?!?
We got to Twin Falls (blog pic) and everyone hoped in for a swim and explore, as the name suggests there are two, one above the other. The kids loved it, it was really beautiful and relaxing listening to the water fall. We swam for an hour or so then headed back to camp for lunch, only 10 min walk.
Lunch was awesome, strass sandwiches. Now you ask why awesome? Well firstly we hadn't had bread for three days and secondly it was Angie's homemade bread!!!! Martin loved it, can already tell that we will be making heaps of this in the future. Can use the dough mixture for bread, pizza, donuts and 'vat roll' which is the dough cooked in hot oil. Tastes awesome!
The arvo was spent relaxing at camp and swimming at the falls again. Us girls played a game of rummicub which was great, l hadn't played it since l was a kid. The boys looked over the vehicles to make sure all was ok in anticipation for tomorrow. It is going to be pretty full on with 3 creek crossings and two river crossings. One being the difficult of all, the Nolan River. Apparently it has taken up to 70 vehicles this season. Fingers crossed ey.
We all did the normal dinner cookup and settled around the camp fire. Again Angie treated us all with desert, a vinegar pudding. It was delicious, love her cooking. We will all be tubby by the end of this trip!! Lol. We all went to bed early, Martin and l settled after a cup if tea!!!! Lol Frenchman Crew!!!!
