JUST RELAX AND THINK OF JAPAN

It was actually nice to not ride the bike today, well its never nice to NOT ride a motorbike but it was definently a good feeling to not be wearing motorcross boots in the 40 degree heat!

I pulled on the shorts and went for a wonder through Kyoto. Very cool place, actually I think I like it better than Tokyo. Easier to get around by foot everywhere and stacks of shrines in very unlikely places. Like in the middle of big blocked off, covered over shopping street there will be a shrine in the middle of it, pretty strange, but a nice relief from the chaos of watching the Japanese buy as much stuff as they possibly can. They love capitalism.

I spent the next couple of days just wondering around and not thinking about motorbike touring...
