Minilya Roadhouse actually turned out OK except for the power generator going all night. The showers and loos were basic but worked really well, and being the only ones there meant it was easy to get to use it. Also they had a really helpful chap called Drew from Sydney who stapled up our broken back bed, and did a temporary fix on our broken water pipe so that at least it works for the moment. Not sure how long it will last, but it gives us a chance of having some water when we're on the move and not near a water supply. So far whilst we're on the coast most of the sites we've stopped at have water available. Got some more car fuses, but didn't blow one on today's trip.
Easy days drive today as we thought we go via Coral Bay, one of Angie's most favourite places in the world. We had been told there would be no room for us as it is the school Easter holidays, but we asked anyway and amazingly there was a little slot for us. A British accent and charm sometimes comes in useful.
Plan to have trip on a boat tomorrow to snorkel on the reef out in the bay, but manage to get a snorkel in just off the beach. There are amazing big and small fish immediately you get in to the water, but much of the close in coral appears to have died, probably with over swimming. Got lazy and went to the fish and chip shop tonight. Don't think it was any better than Wing's.
