Another early morning. We finally caught up with Slavica (cousin who lives in Switzerland) & her family - they have a holiday home in Kavran, set in bushland. We spent the day with them. We walked down to the beach not too far from their place. This beach was clean and incredibly cool. The cold water results from a fresh water spring that runs into the beach. It was hard to leave as the water was so clear & refreshing.
In the early evening we all headed off to Pula via our place so we could change. The first stop at Pula was their favourite ice cream parlour where John and I chose to have a European vanilla slice with a scoop of ice-cream, yummy.
A walk through the crowded streets of the old part of town showed us a different side of Pula. Shops where open for business & stalls where out in full force trying to take advantage of the tourists.
We caught the amphitheatre whilst it was lit up with pink lights - quite pretty & well done.
On the way home we also saw the cranes lit up again - still looked great even though we saw them last night.
