Zoe and Ed's Travels
We have been relaxing in Singapore for the last three days. There's isn't a great deal to see here in terms of sights, but plenty of retail opportunities. We have been to the zoo and also the botanical gardens, where we visited the orchid garden. Slightly disappointed to discover the Delifrance has a different menu here to the branches in Hong Kong: no pate sandwiches, in particular. However, we went to a supermarket and splurged on pate and blue cheese and olives and nice bread to make up for it. And we also managed to have our fair share of coffee and cake, as well as a couple of pints in a couple of fairly authentic pubs (one English and one Irish), although the pints did cost around 4.50 pounds each, which detracted a little bit from the enjoyment.
We get the train to KL tomorrow.
