WE'VE ARRIVED!!! And it took us 1 car, 2 planes, 2 busses, a train and a ferry to get here. But we love it. We are now in Ayutthaya, just north of Bangkok. The plane was long and boring, on our second flight we had two tickets for a row that didnt exist. Only it wasnt like in harry potter where harry has to catch a train from platform 13b and theres only a 13a and 14 so he just runs at the wall and runs through it only to find another platform. So we held up the plane by 40mins with a broken chair and us trying to blag our way into business class. But they were having none of it. The train was the best mode of transport, it had no doors, and was absolutely rammed so people were just hanging from the sides. When we got off the train we were greeted by an elephant with flashing LEDs on its arse:
We're in a nice hostel tonight, with a good honesty policy for purchasing beer (take from fridge and write down how many you have: pay later). We had some good thai food and drinks from a street merchant this evening; only time will tell the effect on our stomachs (they dont need a license to sell beer anywhere wowowow)
Plan to visit some Wat's tomorrow, then head north on a night train to Chiang Mai for a bit to do some cooking and massage courses, then over to Pai to do a hill tribe trek.
tqlk to you qll soon; becquse i just broke the keyboqrd
