This morning we traveled to Koh Samui. We traveled on a coach and boat for about six hours altogether. When we got to the pier in Koh Samui we squashed onto a tuc tuc for a hundred baht which was much cheaper that the six hundred baht taxi. We had an idea of a place I'd seen online called AKWA to stay so we got dropped there and booked in for two nights. It was a quirky room with lots of Disney things, weird lamps and a big hand chair. It was a good place to stay with complimentary water and DVDs you could watch. We got ready and headed out. We went for dinner at a nice restaurant. I ordered a Thai curry and after asking for very little spice it blew my mouth off but I ate it anyway as it was nice and maybe It will help me get better with spicy food. We went for a walk and found a good little market, I had to go back to our accommodation to get more money as there was lots to buy. When we had finished we carried on walking, it was quiet a walk from our accommodation to the main strip. We went to an Australian bar which was quiet busy and had a good band playing. We sat with two Canadian guys (one of which we'd already met) and an English guy who had gone to Canterbury Christ Church University too. Once we'd had a drink we went to a big nightclub called 'Green Mango' which when we got there was pretty quiet but soon filled up. We had a good night there before we walked back to our accommodation which felt longer and darker with most places near us being shut, than when we went out earlier. Before i went to sleep i got to catch up with Hayley and Emily on Skype which was nice.
