hey guys, heard the news that your actually tiring of all that hot weather and coming home end of may-yay! realling looking forward to seeing you both again and perfect timing as should be finishing my exams around then as well. been at home for a while now went to granny's 81st on sat that was lovely really warm day-actually took our jumpers off. yesterday wasn't that nice thou got all cold again which was just mean as was John and Kate's St Georges day party was fun nevertheless and xander,leon and john even ended up in the pool which i think was a hell of a lot warmer then outside as could see steam coming off it! back in brighton again now back to the grindstone again with a placement to find, couple of pieces of coursework to do and exams in less than a month its all to look forward to. all my love charlie xxxxxxxx

Hey guys hope all is well with you both, havent posted anything recently been too busy with diserataion and planning the move to Spain, only about seven weeks to go now until we move, havent got an exact date for me yet but Angela will definetly be over for the 1st of June. Do you know when your coming back cause were having a big party towards the end of may-gonna be a road block, and would be good if you make it. Angela and I are off to a Dorset cottage for the easter break should be good fun. Everything else apart from the wheather is good, its more like late autumn at the moment, windy wet and cloudy, havnt had a single warm day yet-sucks arse. Anyway gotta go loads to write still, take care of yourselves and speak soon.

I have managed to get hold of x2 tickets for the World Cup Quarter Final in Berlin (30th June) If England finished 2nd in their group and get past the round of 16 we could be watching them!! If not we'll be in Berlin for the w/end while all the Quarter Finals are played so we'll get to watch it in a bar somewhere

Jaime & I are off to Bristol for the Easter Bank Holiday with Westy & Liz to see Jon & Kate

Things are pretty good here Although some places had 5 inches of snow here yesterday - global warming my ar$e!!!

hey big bro and mel of course, afraid this written while drunk so sorry about mistakes. hope all going well both in oz and nz respectivly. got loads of news but will share all when come back as hear its gonna be soon-prob will have forgotten it all by then but hey- anyway very annoyed got fired today from shop though everyone says its not being fired as was just cos had too many staff-but i say theres no difference i still have no income! aside from that same really still lookng for job didn't get american express but yet to hear from wella so still keep fingers crossed thou you prob got cramp now but beside point. went out tonight to celebrate loss of job or whatever would call it-wasn't bad night went to volks managed to blag ourself in so even better although had to leave by certain time so jordan didn't have to play. now going to bed and going to see how i feel and see if can drive back home toorrrow-free food etc.. anyways time to sign off before write too much rubbish. night night looking forward to seeing you again and not just pics get bored and home sick again quickly please. charlie xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Having read Leona's message I feel compelled to defend myself. Yes I was away at the week-end on a beery week-end (19 of us celebrating Marian's 50th) but I did do a 7 mile walk around Ullswater. Will (McV) gave us the walk and I mistakenly assumed that because it was around a lake it would be relativley flat and easy. Oh No - first off we missed the Steamer across the Lake which meant we did the walk back to front (apparently its much easier in the other direction). It took us (well the back markers) 5 hours with multiple stops to catch our breath not helped by the fact that those coming in the opposite direction kept saying only 1andhalf hours to go when we thought we were nearing the end. We also met some Mountain Bikers who expressed no concern at the thought of cycling over rocky paths and through waterfalls (Zaki you would have been in your element). Off to Pitsford Reservoir this week-end (08.00 a.m.) for another 7 miler but this one is definitely pretty flat (as is most of Northampton).

hey guys, sorry i havent written to you in awile, have been flat out with work and sleeping!!hows everything going, your photos are cool looks like your having a really good time!!! i went to thredbo when i was younger, mums brother rob and hi ife val use to live there, its awesum!! mums bday was yesterday but i better not tell you how old she was!!! havent heard from ben in awil he ant seem to move himself to a internet cafe!!!! other than that lifes pretty boaring around here, just waiting for my birthday to roll round and get on it!!!! hope all is well and ill see you soon, let me know what your flights are!!

my good news is I retire next Friday so on the countdown, I will then have time to delve further into your adventures
the rosies are still going well, your mum is preparing for the big moonwalk. we had the first meeting to discuss our training, in the pub of course with beer and chips. this weekend is the start of serious training but unfortunately your mum is away on another beery jolly. she says she is going to go for a long walk tomorrow but we will see

Hi Mel and Zak, just looked at the latest photos they look fab. Mel - can't believe how long your hair is but I guess trips to the hairdressers are not top priority at the moment. Zak - dig those groovy shorts, the ones you were wearing in Thredbo are particularly fetching. Do they still call them shorts if they are really long (below your knees) and have large daisies all over them or do the Ozzies have a different name for them. Trip to NZ North Island looks good keep me posted where you are going after this. Went to Nottingham on Sunday for Mothers Day and Shirley's 50th and Nan's 72nd birthdays. They were very impressed that you managed to get your cards to them from the other side of the world as Mark's were late (as per usual). My Mother's Day Card from him arrived yesterday, oh and I'm still waiting for my birthday present from January so you are now officially my No. 1 child !!! I'm still at work finishing off some stuff (as usual) in tomorrow but off work on Friday as off to the Lake District for the week-end couple of long walks planned Sat & Sun in prep for the MoonWalk in May. About 20 of us going to the Lakes to celebrate Marian's 50th - in my car I've got Jill, Margaret, Carol (Shaw) and me. I'll send you a message next week to let you know how we got on - meantime if you are Surfing (on the Internet not in the Sea) you might want to check out the hotel we're staying at www.queensheadhotel.co.uk in a small village called Hawkshead.
