Buddhist, Confucian, & Daoist shrine altars. The grounds are filled with a mixture of tourists gawking and locals worshipping. The strong scents of incense & ashes linger in the musty air. I'm unsure who's receiving more blessings...the old peddlar grandmothers making a profit selling incense or the people praying for happiness, good health, & prosperity.
