Ok….. so after a rather chilled out Brisbane city we headed to Noosa, we stayed at Koalas backpackers…. It was our first experience of Koalas…….we had also booked our next two trips and accommodation with them so we hoped it would be good…….. and sooooooooooo it was!!We were only there for two days but we met so many cool people, it was kinda like a dirty dancing type set out….. small log cabin type dorms set in woodland with a pool in the middle and a small disco type club on site that had different activities going on every night!! Perfect to party….we immediately gathered that there would be no chill out time in Noosa!!It helped enormously that we were in a 7 bed all girls dorm, with two welsh girls from Cardiff…..(we later found out that we go to the same places back home & will def meet up) we had so much in common it was really fun to exchange stories of where we'd been were we were going etc…. sooooooo as you can guess our first night we were listening to funky house getting ready to go out… all 7 girls in one big room, make up hairdryers, clothes, etc but where we were going we didn't quite know? lol We finished our goon fest in our room and headed for the club house bar…the music was okish, but it was so good to see other people we had met on the way up the east coast seemed like we all just gelled really well…..Also it was toga night so there were loads of peeps dressed up…very drunk lol When it closed we jumped in a free courtesy bus to the local nightclub, it was ok, we stayed for about an hour and headed the 15 minute walk home……The next day we spent at the beach, Noosa beach was lovely… probably one of our favorites because it was cool with the hot sunshine….we spent the whole day there playing cards with friends & Lucy even read a whole book….We headed back made ourselves beans on toast for lunch, (WEREN'T WE LUCKY!! The perks of travelling) showered, changed, and decided that all us girls would sit outside with our goon and play drinking games….gosh we've learned sooo many so far…..the ring of fire…piggy in the middle….happy snap……s***head….. were not vey good mind we always end up DRUNK!! But it's the taking part that counts eh? The Cardiff girls knew some Swedish guys so they joined in with us, it was cool to learn about a different part of the world, their religions, food, language, normality's, just general differences in people's cultures really…. It is soooo true that you learn something new everyday but out here its like learning 10/20 things new everyday!! The next day we spent waiting for our bus to Hervey bay…..we walked around Noosa town and looked at the many affluent houses…they were sooo amazing…it made us think we really could live out here….the houses were right on the river, they all had little boats out front, swimming pools etc!! we gather Noosa its quite an up and coming area, quite small but also money!!….we spent the afternoon at the park on the river bank just talking and taking it all in, it was so good to see families spending family time together, children playing with random sticks & twigs in the rivers making they're own fun….just goes to show things are so different when you have the weather, everything's brighter!! we loved it………….Hervey bay here we camp…….back to basics CAMPING on the worlds biggest sand island with 8 random people…..oooooooohhhhh its exciting!!
