The 2nd largest volcano crater in the world...8 kilometers across and 25 kilometers around. Still active, but apparently predictable!!!!! Last erupted 1979 and has had 10 significant blasts since 1813 according to http://www.geo.cornell.edu/geology/GalapagosWWW/SierraNegra.html if anyone is interested. Amazing place.
