At the opening ceremony, two Welsh people had to walk out with the other teams to represent Wales. Lynn broke her arm about a month ago so she was asked to go and she is wearing MY shirt!

This is me at the pitch with the gift from the Aussies to the team. There were some native dancers who played the didgeridoo and did a sort of dance. Videos won't upload but il show you when I get home.

Met Howard and Jenny Atkins who are out here. Howard is playing for Wales over 55s. Watched the over 50s play. They lost narrowly to New Zealand 2-1 but we're happy with that. Then watched the opening ceremony and there was an amazing noise when the Wales reps went out onto the pitch. Our game started at 5.30 pm.
