Today was our quintessential christian prairie town day. We started by showering at a truck stop, eating BLT's then hitting the church for a Sunday service. Had some issues keeping in laughter when there was a puppet show explaining how to grow your bone, it was pretty rediculis. Today was the day I rip the old fuel pump out of the Volvo and asses the oil leak. We got to Go garage saling and have a BBQ with Jays family (our truck driver) and his coworker/pasture. Everything was great, less beer consumed at this BBQ than the ones we're used to, but it had a pool and his family was amazing. Very cute kids and really nice family all around. Stayed in beautiful Regina with some great friends. We got shown the local country bar and had an unbelievable time! Now off to calgary.

Broken fuel pump Well, I guess a road trip isn't a road trip without a breakdown, and what better place to have it happen than in the middle of the prairies. It started with the fuel pump letting go about 30k outside of moosejaw Saskatchewan. Excellent Visit with uncle Peter and aunt Karen, probably the best food we'll have on this trip. They were too hospitable, the bake French toast was one of the best things I've tasted. It was great seeing them. Next we are Heading out to Neys Provincial Park near Marathon.
