Spent this weekend in Katoomba, Blue Mountains NSW. Katoomba was a really nice place, but I got the feeling that although it's a huge tourist destination, they don't get that many 'out-of-towners'. Everything was sort of old fashioned, but really nice. Went to Bondi Beach, it was incredible! Amazing weather and the sea was so clear, I can't wait to go surfing! As we were sat on the beach we noticed the clouds coming towards us, so we decided to leave, however when we got to the bus stop it seamed that everyone else had thought the same so allthe busses were full! So we we decided to walk back (having already walked about 6k there) and got absolutely drenched, fattest rain I've ever seen! Today is a lovely day ...

Dispite being told by several people to go to bed AS SOON AS I CAN on arrival to avoid jetlag, I spent my first night chatting to some German guys, and ended going to Soundwave Festival with them the next day. Saw some amazing bands and had a great time but it would've been more enjoyable if I wasn't so jetlagged! Also I wore flip-flops....which weren't good for being on my feet for 10 hours and being in crowds of jumping people... Went to Sydney Aquarium yester...

Getting so excited, got a lovely present from Lyn which consits of painkillers, savlon and a mini sewing kit among other things! Took my bike one last ride today and then cleaned her/emptied the petrol tank! About to take my Pop for a walk, going to miss her so much! Ciao for now!
