After breakfast we walked across the road from the hotel to the famous "Troon Golf Course", it looks a very challenging course, but the weather not for my liking to play golf - to wet!! Hi Everyone, We have had a very interesting and happy day, weather has been kind a bit cool and a little rain but not at the important times. We managed to be on the road by 8.00am, saying our goodbyes to Sheila, we headed for the M5 leading us north onto the M6 for Scotland. Hi Everyone, Monday was a family and friends day, we drove over to Maris and John's house for a most enjoyable lunch taking Shiela (Bill's other sister) with us. We met up up with Jack and Bonnie again, Maris and John' very friendly dogs. They are a little exciteable when we arrive but soon settle and show us how well behaved they be can be. We made arrangements to visit Scott and Julie (Bill's nephew) the following day. Scott lives in the Brownhills area an hours drive north of Birmingham it was also a good excuse to try our hire out.
