PKU's architecture's largely an odd mismatch of nice, if rundown, old Chinese buildings and horrible modern eyesores. So imagine my surprise when I ended up stumbling upon a rather pretty new-looking complex of traditional Chinese buildings, apparently named after some rich benefactor. Good for him.
