'Feitian' is the Chinese name, 'Apsara' is the Sanskrit. From what I could make out, they're basically like angels in Christian mythology, complete with musical instruments (although they have lutes instead of harps). This is one of the few sculptures I've seen, certainly in China, that really fit perfectly with the surroundings and that I noticed simply because it was so nice.
