My first Halloween has been quite good. 'Thriller' and 'Monster Mash' have been on high rotation on the radio stations, Jack 'O' Lanterns leer from every corner and every store is trying to sell you 'candy' in bulk to give to the kiddies. I was hoping to get some snaps of all the kids and their parent in costumes walking the streets. Unfortunately all I get is mistrusting stares from the parents. I dunno why a single guy walking the steets with a camera on the most popular night of the year to have young kids out would concern a parent. Must be a small town thing. In other news I've been regularly sleeping in my van now. I was given the tip to stay in Wal-Mart car parks cause security will look out for you. They like it cause you end up buying stuff (true). Wal-Mart rules, don't listen to what anyone says. They have everything you could ever want. Also they usually have a Maccers inside as wellFor those of you getting jealous when I was summering it up while you experienced the depths of winter, I'd like to point out the last two nights have been below zero. At least you all had a house to live in. I woke up last night and scared my self cause I couldn't get out of my sleeping bag cause I'd buried myself in it so far. I was freezing - lucky there was a Starbucks nearby for hot chocolate. Sometimes all this consumerism is a good thing!
