Well everyone we made it to KL in Malaysia. It has been a crazy few weeks and we have loved every minute of it.
Where to begin?? Well for a start this blog malark is a bit hard to keep up to date when ur busy travelling and trying to fit everything in.
I'm having trouble uploading photos to the sight so if you want to see them sign up for facebook.com and search for me by my name.
We got to Bangkok and it was everything that we expected - initally we thought it was clean and tidy (well compaired to India). We managed not to get ripped off getting our taxi from the Airport to our hotel - woopee!
We had 4 days to look round Bangkok - but decided on day one that we would like to go to Cambodia so we booked our bus and off we went.
The early rise was no fun but an hour or so into our bus ride our driver hit 3 people on a motor bike and killed two of them. It was quite a crazy time but they just continued with the trip. And not meaning to be nasty but I'm glad they did - Cambodia is top of my fave moments so far.
On arriving at the border there was the classic sign for 'Aliens' entering (that was us - apparently). And then we had the best car ride for three hours on the worst road ever. Infact I wouldnt call it a road - it was more like a death trap -but its all part of the travelling adventure!
We arrived safely and managed to get a lonley planet guide for 3 pounds which was really handy when our tour guide spoke hardly any english and managed only just to point to our Lonely planet pages for us to read lol.
Anyway Angkor wat was absolutely brill and if you have never thought about a trip to it then please reconsider. It was breath taking to say the least. The Tomb Raider tree is immense and Angkor Wat itself was truely remarkable.
