They have only just cottoned on to the internet in the Yaswa islands, i think there are only computers on two islands and its really slow and expensive so sorry for the lack of update.
We have been travelling around the islands for two weeks. We started off on South sea Island which literally looks like a desert island, it's tiny! The next place we went to was Waya Lii Lii, this is where we met Anna, an irish girl from Dublin who travelled with us for the remainder of the trip, shes lots of fun. This island was our fav, the people were really friendly and danced for us at night and gave us cava to try which tastes like dish water and makes your tounge go numb! Anna and i went canoeing for 2 and half hours, we went across to the next island and then to the next beach along on our island where there were people building a new resort, they let us look around and made us a cup of tea. We also went fishing with the chiefs son, i got sea sick and had to hitch a lift back and Wes caught baracouder.we did a sumit walk to see really lovely views over the island and we stood on the wobbling rock!
Korovu was quite a big island you couldn't really swim here as it was really shallow and there was alot of coral. They had a pool so that was nice. Anna and i built a sand castle with the local kids then Wes got taught to play a fijian song on the guitar.
From here we went to Sunrise which was not very nice it was really windy and the accommodation consisted of a series of sheds. We walked over the hill 30mins to the blue lagoon which was beautiful crystal clear and calm. We met Liz, a german girl here and she joined our little travelling group too. We made ankle bracelets from shells on the beach.
Next was the wana Taki cruise where i got really sea sick but we met a few more people and snorkled and jumped off the top of the boat and swam with manta rays and played volley ball.
Beach comber was the party island. we went on a really great cruise to the castaway island and to a local village. Running out of time bye for now x x
