When we arrived at Mui Ne it was really quiet. We decided not to book accommodation in advance and just turn up and look for something. I found Mui Ne Hills on tripadvisor rated best small property so we got dropped off there. The place was beautiful and owned by a french guy. We had a duplex room which was really ncie and 2 swimming pools. because it was so quiet it was like having a private pool right outside our room. We chilled on the beautiful beach had nice food amd the highlight was going to the sand dunes. We hired someone to drive us in a jeep and they took us to a volcano first where we waded through really shallow water called the fairy stream. I have never seen anything like this berfore in my life. Itw as so different. We then went to a fishermans beach where we saw so many boats out in the sea and loads of shells and jelly fish on the beach. We got taken to 2 different sand dunes. The white and then the red. My favourite was the white, it was massive and alot of hills and the views were amazing. Some people were slidimg down on little boards and some hired ATVs. The red dunes were ok too but alot of little local kids (which i didnt trust) haha. The last night we went for dinner and the taxi driver got lost tried charging us ,ore we argued with him it was so funny. The restaurant owner ended up paying the difference on our fare to keep the peace. I swear it was only about 50p but its the principal in my eyes haha. We went to a bar with a live band that night got talking to them and they took us to anotrher bar afterwards which was more lively. the owner of where we were staying was there too so we ended up getting a lift back with him. We wanted to stay longer in Mui Ne it was really beautiful and peaceful but it was time to go to Saigon.
