After a long journey (longest so far) we arrived in Hanoi and finally to our hotel. We have noticed that in Vietnam it's hard to find somewhere to eat after 10pm we arrived at 1130pm. We state at the Tulin palace hotel which was really nice. Hanoi itself is so so crazy motorbikes are everywhere and it takes ages to cross the road. You have to be brave and just walk slowly across and they avoid you. You can't run. The hotel was nice with really good service but apart from people in the hotel we really felt uncomfortable. All the locals pointed and laughed at us all the time. One boy even run away from me scared into his friends arms it was so weird. We did find out because they are not used to seeing anyone different from them so if you are black, talk, big, hairy etc they laugh which isn't nice and hard to get used to for us. We did get really angry at one point but in the end decided to give Vietnam a try which I am glad. So in Hanoi we done a city tour, visited the prison from the war which was spooky but really interesting and had drinks along the lake. Drinks were ok prices so we checked out a few bars too. It's so busy I was looking forward to going on to the next place but glad I saw Hanoi anyway.
