There is something decidely peaceful about floating along the river without a care in the world. Tomaga River was the testing ground for our new toy - a Hobie Quest 11 kayak. A chance stop at Batemans Bay Visitor Centre ended up leading us to Broulee Lookout at sunset. We have been coming to the south coast for over 25 years and didn't even know this lookout existed. We've even walked around the rock platform at the base of the lookout, just never looked up.
