Taroudant is a lovely place. Very much like a miniature Marrakech with all the atmosphere but none of the stress. It's a great place to buy cheap and authentic gifts. I gave into a carpet here!!

My flight fell through so in order to get back to Lille I had to sit on a 38hr coach journey (they said it would be 14!!), right through Spain and on into France. There were definitely a few illegal immigrants onboard!! Every hour the Muslim call to prayer was played over the radio. Very interesting for the first 5 hrs but not all that appreciated when I was trying to doze off!!
