The removal truck rocked up this morning at 11.30. As soon as we dealt with the paperwork we were off to Point Samson. Point Samson is located about 15kms North of Roeboune, just past Wickham. It is certainly a beautiful little seaside resort. We arrived at 1.45pm just in time to check in. I must say, it was a bit of a learning curve, preparing for the cyclone. The people up here are very well trained in preparing for them. We are taking the 10.20 Virgin flight to Port Hedland this morning. In one way we are very happy, but in another we have mixed feelings, as we will be leaving our family and friends. The bright side is, we are only a 1hour .40min plane flight away ! The picture at the top of this blog is what Port Hedland really looks like. (so I am told by the owner of the business) Paradise. :)

Well we arrived in Port Hedland on time. Eventually we made across to the hotel we were booked into. It was Friday night, and not many people around. Seems all the fifo's had flown home! We received a call on Monday to say that our furniture had arrived. I started work on Monday, so Cheryl got the job of unpacking. She was so lucky!
