Mostly off road (well off road for us in the UK, but M6 for Morocco).
Drove up to Msemrir and looked around the local Souk. Not a market day so not much there, just the usual beheaded goats and flies. Managed to find some fresh vegetables for 6p.
Found a local cafe and ordered the obligatory omelette, then watched the waiter cross the road and buy the eggs from the shop opposite. But not until after 10 minutes after we arrived, never rush in Morocco.
Lots of technical tracks working with Rob and Krissy we managed to work our way to the camp site before the light went.
Arrived at the camp in the cold and rain.
Set up the tent and then walked to the sacred waterfall and caves. Didn't spot any naked Berber women in the waterfall attempting to increase their fertility.
Cooked a meal of pre-prepared hot pot and couscous with the pepper, onions and chilli we had bought earlier in the Souk. Very welcome as it was a. Warm and b. Not a tangine.
Went to bed largely in the clothes we had on all day and had no sleep and very very cold. Not a high point.(Pop up loo worked well)
