Yo!
Just a quickie as they say, cause i dont wanna spend too much time infront of a bloody computer when its a blazing hot summers day here at Coogee beach :)
Well alot has happened since i last wrote a blog, we spent 8 nights in the city, 1 extra for free cause the mucked up our booking!! Lovely hotel/hostel though and our own room which was nice.. to get a good nights sleep! Weather was still pants though, travel around the world for heavy rain and clouds! Took it easy for a few days, out seeing sites and visiting the harbour and what a site with some nice bars and cafes around!
By this time i had worn all my clothes and was wearing pants inside out! So first things first lets get some washing done! Well this was a first, cant get my mum to do it! (sorry mum!) So we find a cleaners and we're that lazy we couldn't be bothered to do it ourselves so we give nearly all our clothes over to these little Chinese men to wash! Didnt think anymore of it until i pick it up the next day get back to change and oh dear... i now have 14 crop tops!!! Think i mite get my belly button pierced and just wear them, cant afford new clothes!!
Saturday we decide we gotta go out, so i get dressed in 1 min flat (haven't used gel once in my hair yet, so the balding is coming through strong now and the sideburns are getting a little aggressive!), anyway you know me no shame!! Whereas Kate takes bout an hour! So i go to the bar on my own!! We decide to go to seedy kings cross, loads of strip clubs and prostitutes (boys you would love it! just like magaluf..haha!) We find a club called Le Panic... exactly what we wanted full on house music and after a couple of sambucas and tequillas we were both cutting some rug and embarrising ourselves!! Was a really good night and got home about 4ish! Nice hangover in the morning!!
On the Tuesday we booked to see a comedian at the opera house, he's name was Tom Gleeson, didn't know what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised, he was hilarious and we got all the jokes even though he was an Aus!
Next day i finally convinced Kate after much arguing that it'll be fun to do the Harbour Bridge climb. What an experience!! We turned up at half 11 for the 11.55 climb!! There was only 6 of us all under the age of 25! But oh dear... you should have seen these outfits we had to don.. Giant baby grows is the only was i can describe them and for some reason everyone was laughing at me, the women who was telling us about the climb and getting us to sign our lies away was in histerics! Kate later told me she said i had that kind of face... oh thanks!!! We had a wickid guide called Dale, he took us all the way to the top 134m up (i think) and told us all about it, took loads of photos and kept us all entertained on the 3hr climb! Kate was doing really well even with me shaking the rails and stuff occassionally! I go the fotos sent home so if you wanna see me dressed as a man baby, high up on a bridge with Sydney behind me just turn up im sure they wont mind!
Met up with the 2 lads i mentioned at Bondi for a few beers, we're all off out on saturday! We left the city life on thurs for 4 days down here at Coogee, the sun has finally come out fully and its now baking hot, got a decent backpackers hostel called Wizard of Oz!? Strange!! Gonna do lots of sunbathing and probably drinking too! Not sure where we are off to after yet!! cant think that far ahead!
Heard its cold at home, hope it aint too bad!
I promise to get more pictures up of my toned body in the sun up real soon!
Take Care x
