A Hike to "Preikestolen"
The Pulpit Rock, Stavanger, Norway
Having a 2- week vacation gave me a chance to explore more of the country. Luckily, I got to see the famous PREIKESTOLEN in Stavanger. I traveled 8 hours from Oslo by train. Since I am terrified flying, i think train is a great option. :) Besides, it offers wonderful view of the lakes. And you will never get hungry, but if you do, the train have an spacious restaurant located at the center. You don't have to worry about being bored since you can use your laptop, cellphones without having to worry about your battery. You have free sockets where you can plug your gadgets. Choosing to travel by train was worth it after all.
I am lucky to see one of God's greatest creation. The hike was worth it. Almost a year since I have been away. Left home with little money on my pocket. Just packed with faith, hope and 'some' dreams. Hard as it may seemed to be. Being alone gives me a sense of independence and realized my worth. I am grateful to discover things alone, take risks and not to be afraid about the consequences. No what ifs, no buts. Things I never learned. And I'm taking it slowly. Step by step until I get there.
But unlike this rock…i am not certain how long I can stand on my own.
