Hi Everyone Having amazing time here!! Had manic 2 weeks on my tour and met 18 lovely people so have stack of email addresses already and planned our reunion in london later in the year!! So heres a quick note of what I've done.... First day in bangkok stayed on koh san road which is the backpacking district, full of food stalls, bars, fire jugglers and tons and tons of tuk tuks!! mad!! Then overnight train (which was eperience!!) with its buffet car which turns into nightclub with music and flashing lights etc etc nothing like home!!Headed to CHiaing mai in the north for more temple visits and then of to see elephant training camp (see photos) folllowe by village home stay which was really really good. 18 people sleeping in a hut and we had dinner round a fire while all the grils from the village dressed up in traditional costume and came and did dancing and games with us (like being girl guide again!!HA ha!!)Then bamboo rafting (my raft needed to be rebuilt by the end!!) was pretty wet as everyone obviously tried to push everyone in including our guides!Next day was elephant treck pretty scary although I got put on little elephant!! Then back to bangkok and on to viist river kwai and the death railway which we went on. Then another overnight train visit down to krabi which is where I am now for seriouse beach time!! So far its been sun, sleep and cocktails!! So having great time!! Met loads of people when we have been out most here seem to be swedish Aussies or Kiwis!! Nightlife here is really cool alreay been to the local nightclub three times in a row!! and its not even like the irish!!Limited my bar dancing to only 3 times so far and each time it was when YMCA was playing oh dear!!The nightclub is right on a beach so at four in the morning we decided it would be a good idea for all of us to paddle in the sea needless to say some peple were a little wet on the walk home!! oh dear all down hill from here on in!! So off to pool party on friday and then kim arrives so trying to not drink much as you know what shes like!!! Anyway best go so hope you are all well mail me all your news from home!!!
