Hello everyone,

how is 2007 going?? we are in Nelson, in the south island (NZ) now. its really pretty here, we spent a day in a town called picton and went fishing off the pier - didnt catch anything though. Since rotorua where we had last wrote about we travelled down to napier which we loved, probably the nicest place in the north island. There we went to marineland and saw the cutest seals and watched a dolphin show! it was great! and because last time we tried to swim with dolphins in the wild we couldnt we booked in to do it here! it was fantastic - it was in a big pool and you just get in and swim around with the dolphin, she was really playful and was coming right up 2 us and us jumpimg over us. it was quite sacry though because she was so big and came swimming up to us so fast! we were even playing ball games with her!

After napier we went down to Wellington then took the ferry across to the south island!

Today we are doing a 6 hour drive to westport, we will be stopping off along the way lots though! we met 2 nice chefs and we are giving them lifts in our campervan for a few days and in return they cook for us! woo hoo! its great - the food is amazing too!

anyway we hope you are enjoying our pictures, we will put a few more up in a few days.
