today it was Ireland's most popular drive of 100 miles around the ring of Kerry.very narrow winding roads ,beautiful landscapes, the driver said that the bus company's all travel in the same direction so there is no trouble meeting a big bus coming the other way,not so for the tourists in campervans.a bit tricky but made it without incident. we stopped at a local farmers for a sheepdog demonstration.through the village of cahirciveen,across Valencia bridge to the skellig experience,where we learn,t all about the monks who lived on skellig rock.first thet cut out the steps in the rock and then build their monastery. next onto sneem,lunch in a pub.stopped at mills gap for a view of the lakes of killarney, back to our hotel,a free evening.had a walk around the town .meet up with the English lady on the tour for dinner.only 2 courses tonight,baked brie,and a Angus beef steak with mushrooms,white wine.only a glass.
just as well we are doing a lot of walking ,since we are also doing a lot if eating and a wee by of alcohol consumption.
