It's so good to be back in Prague! I forgot how much I loved the place. It was a beautiful sunny day this time too which made a difference.
After a few hour drive from Berlin, we got a bit lost trying to find the Czech inn but we finally did and took the team into the new town, walked down to the Sandersons walking tour. Karel was pretty fun! We enjoyed it and it was good to reiterate the history. Particularly the Hussite history and how Bohemia became known. Also all the info on the Prague spring. Jan polak etc. also the fact that Hitler wants to retire in Prague so it was left untouched during WWII.
Had a delicious Bohemian Bagel for lunch and fell in love with Prague shopping. It's a shame we haven't had time to do any shopping. I love the European fashion.
After the tour we went to the Lenin wall and put our locks on there. We have made our mark. I can't wait to see it again in a few years time.
Went back to the hostel for a rest and a beer (happy hour) and then went out to The Pub where u actually pour your own drinks! Awesome stuff. We also had a decent Czech feed. I had a Pilsner Chilli Beef Goulash with dumplings and Scott had a pork neck. The food was fantastic before untried a potato Rosti which almost made me throw my food up!! So gross! So I actually had to spit it out.
All the food and drink cost $25 Australian. Hilarious and awesome!
I love Prague!
