Arrived on ferry drove to Canterbury and got some things. Found hotel in Chilham a lovely little English country town. Walked round the estate walls and looked at the castle. Had dinner. Next day drove to Maidstone and watched the All Blacks play! We beat Aussie! Went to London spent ages driving into our apartment in Hammersmith. Wonderful place owned by Aussie’s who were glued to the Ashes game. GO ENGLAND!!!!!!!!! Mum and Dad got dinner while we listened to the Ashes game. Next day Liam and Dad had tickets to the Ashes game 5th day but the Aussies were all out and ENGLAND WON!!!!! YAY!! Thanks to incredible bowling by Stuart Broad! So we walked through Kensington gardens then Hyde Park to Speakers corner. Heard some hilarious guys talking about Christianity and trying to get people to believe in it. They were crack up and he used a whistle to do funny little songs and dances. Saw Peter Pan statue then NZ war memorial. Then went past Buckingham palace to Green Park had lunch watching Frisbee gridiron. Went and looked at St James’s palace with the guards. Walked over the Thames to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Tried to see Romeo and Juliet but fully booked. Then went to Tate Modern it was stupid and did not look like art! Next day Mum and I went into to town went shopping on Oxford Street. Lunch then Liam and Mum went shopping. Went into London’s biggest mall! Left London went to Windsor. Saw castle, very impressive and walked down Long Walk, saw some royal horses! Saw white horse. Drove through most photographed village in England. Camped at Stratford-Upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace! Walked round Stratford then saw Anne Hathaway's cottage! Got back to tent and it was blown down! Went to Bewdley and met Gwyneth and Alan our relations. They gave us their house for a few days while they were on holiday. Visited our Great Great Aunt Beattie who is 100 years old. They left we spent day just chilling out then visited Beattie again. Next day drove to Iron bridge saw museums there. Spent day there then drove home for dinner. Packed up and drove to Yorkshire moors via Nottingham. Called in at York and saw cathedral then found a B and B at town. Pub for dinner. Drove up to Durham. Got camp then went to Beamish an open-air museum. Spent 4 hours there looking at mining life and olden day life. Saw horses there. Then drove past Anne field Plain where Papa grew up. Went to Durham cathedral then back to tent. Packed up went to Captain Cook memorial in the beautiful Yorkshire moors!! Then went to Morepeth to see Freda and Alistair some more relations. They gave us lunch then we walked round town and went to bagpipe museum then up to castle. Back to there flat and had dinner then went to some more relations for the night. Met Paul and Olivia and their sons Matthew and Robert. Nice night with them. Next morning we looked round their house and garden then took many photos with them and Freda and Alistair then said goodbye. Driving into SCOTLAND!!!!!!!!!!
