Today we are off to Agra to see the Taj Mahal by car with Mr Singh our driver. We were initially dissapointed not to be going by train however, an hour into our journey and we realised by road was the best way as Indian roads are extremely entertaining. Sharing the motorway with us today were carts pulled by elephants, camels, tractors, buffalos and horses, everywhere you looked there was something unbelievable to see!! Not only were there a number of different vehicles but every one had the maximum amount of passengers squashed in as well! Todays records for most overcrowded vehicles were 6 on a motorbike and 18 on a tuk tuk (although this is unconfirmed as there may have been some on the floor we couldn't see). The 18 was made up of 4 hanging off the back, 8 in the passenger back seat, 4 in the front (1 of which was the driver) and 2 on the roof! Got to Agra and went to see the sunset over the Taj Mahal. We had read in the India Times that it was going to be lit up in blue tonight to raise awareness of diabetes so we hung around for quite a while but it did not happen?? No matter it was still awesome.
