Woke up nice and early to beautiful Chinese music: construction. Having Chengdu to ourselves for the day we took today as a whatever, whenever and however pace. Chengdu it self is not tourist crazy but what's around it, that being said, we still soaked in more of the city and more of the sights. Ate a very western breakfast for once: French toast, eggs, sausage and fruit. Heading on our way to Leshan and our 2.5 hour car trip! We head this morning to the train station heading on a long 32 hour 2000km trip through inner China to reach Chengdu. Chengdu is also the hub for travel to Nepal ( Lhasa) and Tibet: this is in the back our minds. Will go to the Panda reserve and enjoy the rare a precious animals.
