As the band played into the summer evening, my baby got sleepy so he lay his precious head on my chest and fell peacefully asleep. I was in a state of calm as I lay on the picnic blanket with my sleeping baby curled into the nook of my arm, and looked up at the fluffy clouds above. As the music played and people shuffled around me, I stared peacefully at that gorgeous expanse of sky, and reflected on my life. I thanked God for everything in it.
